Men, we are called to be warriors. Deep in our souls, God has placed the heart of a warrior. It is the part of us that longs for battle, for conquest, for victory. We sense it: I have a battle to fight. A struggle to face. A war to win. The men of the Bible were all engaged in battle. They fought different battles-in different situations, times, and ways, with their own distinct personalities-but fight they did. And Jesus? He was the greatest warrior of them all. And now, brothers, it is our turn. God is calling every one of us to be his warriors in that same conflict. Just as the heroes of the faith went to war for their God, so must we.
The Men’s Retreat is an awesome time of learning, sharing, playing, chilling and bonding that you don’t want to miss. This year’s retreat will feature Sam Laing and will be held at Lake Williamson Christian Center which is located at 17280 Lakeside Drive in Carlinville, IL. The cost is $80.00 and includes one nights lodging, dinner Friday night, breakfast, lunch and pizza dinner buffet on Saturday. There is also a 2 night option for $100.00.
